在日本大韓民国民団茨城県地方本部(民団茨城)は23日、水戸市千波町の水戸プラザホテルで、東海大教養学部国際学科の金慶珠(キムキョンジュ)教授(コミュニケーション論、メディア論)を招いて日韓文化交流講演会を開いた。約100人が参加し、金教授が「日韓関係と多様性の時代」をテーマに講演、質問に答えた。
金教授は友人との関係を例に「良好な関係を成立させるには、人間の複雑さや多様性を認めることから始まる」と説き、両国関係を解説。「縦軸の政治の在り方では、価値の共有ができなくなった」と振り返りながら、2国間交流について「韓流は約20年間、荒波を超えて今日まで続く現象。日韓関係の防波堤のような存在」と述べた。
その上で、「子育てや女性の働き方、環境問題など2国間で共有できる問題が無尽蔵に埋もれている。政治が見いだすべき」と指摘。最後に「それぞれの立場を尊重する考え方は時代を超えて繰り返し出てきた。平和を保ちながら、日韓関係に思いをはせてほしい」と呼び掛けた。
参加者からは永住権者の地方参政権や、人気のネットドラマ「イカゲーム」について質問が出た。
金教授は多様性の時代について「頑張らなくてもいい時代、生まれただけで素晴らしいとする時代で、それ自体が素晴らしい」と説き、「多様性に気付いたら、日韓関係ももっと洗練された大人の関係が築けるのでは」と話した。
