フィナンシャル・タイムズが報じた関係者２人の話によりますと、アメリカ財務省は１６日、ＤＪＩや顔認証技術、ＡＩ関連の会社あわせて８社を「中国の軍産複合体企業」に指定するということです。アメリカの投資家は指定された企業への投資が禁じられます。
ＤＪＩはドローン市場で世界一のシェアを誇りますが、アメリカ商務省はトランプ政権時代の１年前、中国政府による国民の監視に関与しているとして、ＤＪＩに対してアメリカ製品を輸出することを事実上禁止しています。
フィナンシャル・タイムズは商務省も１６日にさらに中国企業数十社を禁輸リストに追加すると報じています。
一方、中国政府は、この報道を受けて「圧迫を絶えず強化する行為だ」などと強く反発しています。

「中国は、アメリカ側が国家安全の概念を汎用化して、中国企業に対する道理もない圧迫を絶えず強化する行為に断固反対する」中国外務省の趙立堅報道官は１５日の記者会見でこう述べ、強く反発。「事態の発展に注視し、中国企業の正当で合法的な権益を断固守る」と強調しました。
ウイグル族への人権侵害に関する制裁をめぐっては、アメリカ財務省は１０日に中国の人工知能関連企業などを対象に指定しています。
